Resort

Selenge Resort and Nairamdlyn Erdenes Children's Summer Camp were established on June 1, 1981, to coincide with International Children's Day in Khangal Soum of Bulgan Province. The funding for these initiatives came from the Central Council of the Mongolian Confederation of Trade Unions. Upon the request of the EMC's management, the Central Council decided to transfer ownership of the Resort to EMC on November 16, 1981, and it has been operated by it ever since.

Selenge Resort, part of the Selenge Resort and Tourism Complex, welcomes employees, guests, and foreign and domestic vacationers throughout the year, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation and enjoyment. The Resort can accommodate between 170 to 300 people and serves 400 to 450 children during the summer, offering various sports services. To maintain the natural beauty and balance of the ecosystem for future generations and to protect natural resources, the Resort has introduced deer fawns from Khustai Nuruu National Park. As of 2020, nearly 30 red deer inhabit the premises. Additionally, the Resort is home to camels, horses, turkeys, rabbits, and wild boars.

EMC has been implementing the Green Development Center project based on the Selenge Resort and Tourism Complex. This initiative focuses on environmental protection, conservation of endangered species in Mongolia, tourism development, and balancing mining and heavy industry with ecosystem considerations. The project aims to create a complex of conference halls and hotels with modern facilities, enabling Mongolia to host international conferences and seminars.
