Sports
The Sports Complex was established in 1983 to enhance Mongolia's reputation through major sporting events, train elite athletes, and provide residents of the province and mine employees with meaningful recreational opportunities. The complex also offers training and fitness programs for the general public. In 1990, Mongolia's first joint sports club, the "Khangardi" club, was founded. Employees of the Erdenet Mining Corporation (EMC), along with citizens of Orkhon Province, children, and youth, trained in 26 sports, including freestyle wrestling, boxing, judo, archery, and fencing. They achieved significant international success. The complex has produced five Honored Coaches of Mongolia, 15 Honored Athletes, 32 State Medalists, 190 International Masters, and 318 Masters of Sports. Athletes from the "Khangardi" club have won medals in five Olympic Games, 14 World Championships, 425 International Tournaments, and numerous National Championships, accumulating over 600 medals in total.

o Outdoor courts for field and soft tennis
o Athletics track - Skating and hockey rinks
o Chemical and bacteriological laboratory
o Sauna
o Accommodations for athletes
o Cafeteria
o "Sarkhia" natural fitness center with mountain skiing facilities
During the "Miners' Sports Festival 2022," organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mongolia's mining industry, the Erdenet Mining Corporation received a trophy to be displayed permanently.
